Spent the weekend touring the small, tucked away, town of Leavenworth, WA.
A German inspired villa surrounded by stunning mountain tops, snow capped peaks, and endless winding roads.
Our shofar, a 1969 Land Rover Series 2A.

It was a cozy fit for 6 passengers. 2 in the front and 4 in the rear, we got some quality entertainment in whenever confronted with a turn, bump or pothole.

The aroma of grease, petro, and exhaust was almost nostalgic, and brought back fond memories to early childhood.

Got nowhere in a hurry and that's exactly what we were looking for.
Our path followed a curvy road that paralleled a raging river.
The scenery was unmatched. Monolithic rock formations towered the surrounding cliffsides
The river lay below, cold and thrashing. Although treacherous it didn't seem to dismay an avid few that dawned the rapids in their kayaks.
We spent the later part of the day exploring what the town had to offer. Brews and brauts with a Brit.
Prost and Auf Wiedersehen
An idyllic day that few take the time to experience. Good for you!
